Will MEGABurst increase my monthly rate? No; MEGABurst is FREE to all 10Mbps & 15Mbps Advanced Stream High-Speed Internet subscribers. What happens after the MEGABurst burst? Once the MEGABurst burst is complete, your download will continue at your normal provisioned speed of up to 10Mbps or 15Mbps. What do I need to do to get MEGABurst? Most people will need to do nothing. MEGABurst has already been deployed in your area. If you suspect that you are not getting MEGABurst, simply reset your modem by unplugging it for 60 seconds and plugging it back in. If you’re still not getting the speeds, give us a call. Is MEGABurst available with the 3 Mbps service? Initially, the rollout of Advanced Stream's MEGABurst technology will focus on our 10Mbps and 15Mbps speed services, but not the 3 Mbps service. How will customers know that they have experienced the MEGABurst speed enhancement? Customers should notice an initial increase in speed when they are downloading and uploading large files such as software, games, music, and photos.

In order to use MEGABurst, must have a DOCSIS 1.1 or higher CableLabs certified modem that includes 1.1 compliant firmware. Routers may affect performance depending on model and type.
